We will spend these times looking for the big five: lions, buffaloes, elephants, rhinoceroses and leopards. Full day safari by 4×4. We will sleep amidst one of the largest sanctuaries of wildlife on the planet. Its countryside is in the mythical image of Africa : huge spaces, deep blue skies scattered with clouds, cold sunrises and dusks of fire and at night a unique show of stars.

The only one still active is Oldoinyo Lengai, Gods mountain for the Maasais. The Ngorongoro crater, a giant volcano which was probably originally higher than Kilimanjaro itself provides grazing for thousands of gnus, zebras, buffaloes, gazelles, lions which, unlike in Serengeti, do not migrate due to the continuous presence of water in the area which assures their sustenance. After lunch, we make our way to Arusha.
